Welcome to the Injection Simulator

Guided coaches you live as you move — it will tell you when your angle is too steep, when to heel-toe the probe, or to advance by a specific number of millimetres. Practice is a free sandbox with no prompts.

Three anatomies are available: sub-acromial bursa (shoulder, long-axis supraspinatus), anterior hip joint recess (femoral head + acetabulum under the iliofemoral ligament), and greater trochanteric bursa (lateral hip). Each has its own bony landmarks, ideal approach angle, and capsule rules — and you have to angle the probe around those landmarks to reach a thin target.

Drag the probe top of the Approach view to slide along the skin; drag below the skin line to move the needle entry. Scroll over a view to advance the needle. Use the Scan mode toggle (long-axis / short-axis) as you would in real practice.

When the tip is on target, Aspirate first (confirms you're not in a vessel), then Inject. The simulator will animate the drug bolus spreading — correctly if you hit the compartment, or with a warning if you missed.
